An experienced Sound Recordist working in Film and Television, including Emmy award winning drama, Corporate and Commercials.
A full member of both the Association of Motion Picture Sound (AMPS) and the Institute of Broadcast Sound (MIBS)
Has own equipment.

Crusoe” (UK crew) for NBC & Power Studios International
Distant Shores” & “Distant ShoresII” ITV film drama.
Catherine Cookson films (Festival/Worldwide/Tyne Tees TV), including “Dinner of Herbs” and Emmy award winner “The Black Velvet Gown” - all period drama for ITV.
Badger” series one and two - contemporary film drama (Feelgood Fiction for the BBC).
Emmerdale” - ITV soap shot on video, studio and location.

Bodies II” BBC film drama - double banking days.

Documentaries shot on both film and video for ITV, Channel 4, BBC, History Channel, etc. including inserts for ‘Panorama’, ‘The Money Programme’, ‘Songs of Praise’ and a series of

“The Dales Diary” for ITV regional.

Commercials for Shredded Wheat, BSkyB, Aston Martin, Lucozade.
Corporates for One North East, COI, Nissan, International Centre For Life.


General:

Fifteen years as a freelance after leaving Tyne Tees Television with wide experience as a senior sound engineer eventually specialising in location film and video - especially music, drama and documentary.  A higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic  Engineering.  Has given training in location Sound Recording and researched and directed a short film about the piano shown on Tyne Tees Television.
